AI Usage Disclaimer for TruthSeeker App and Website

This disclaimer governs the use of the TruthSeeker Service, and its artificial intelligence (AI) features in the mobile application (the "App") available on Apple’s App Store and the associated Website www.truthseeker.cloud (the "Website") (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Purpose of TruthSeeker and AI Features

The TruthSeeker Service utilizes AI technologies to enable users to discern the TRUTH relative to media that they are presented with, be it e-mails, articles, pictures or videos. In addition it provides information to enable users to research topics associated with defining and clarifying their own worldview.

TruthSeeker provides faith-based tools to compare information with the Bible. The content and outputs are for informational and educational purposes only and are not a substitute for personal study, pastoral counsel, or professional advice.

2. Limitations of AI

• Accuracy and Reliability: The AI features rely on algorithms and data inputs that may not always produce accurate, complete, or reliable results. Outputs may contain errors, biases, or inaccuracies inherent in the underlying data or models.
• No Professional Advice: The AI-generated content or recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice. Users should consult qualified professionals for specific advice.
• Contextual Understanding: AI may not fully understand nuanced contexts, cultural differences, or specific user intent, which may affect the relevance or appropriateness of outputs.

3. User Responsibilities

• Review and Verification: Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content or recommendations before relying on or acting upon them
• Users are responsible for how the information is used and for verifying Scripture references in context.
• Appropriate Use: Users must use the AI features in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and the Service's Terms of Use. Misuse, including generating harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content, is strictly prohibited.
• Data Inputs: Users acknowledge that the quality of AI outputs may depend on the accuracy and appropriateness of the data or inputs they provide.

4. Data and Privacy

• Data Usage: AI features may process user-provided data, including personal information, to generate outputs. All data processing complies with our Privacy Policy.
• Third-Party AI Services: Certain Service features may rely on third-party providers. Data shared with these providers is handled in accordance with their privacy policies and our agreements with them.
• Anonymization and Training: Where permitted, data processed by AI may be anonymized and used to improve the AI models, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

5. Liability

• No Warranty: The AI features are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. No warranty is made as to completeness, accuracy, or suitability of any content or AI output.
• Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrendTrack Management, its affiliates, and its third-party providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or reliance on AI features, including but not limited to errors, inaccuracies, or losses resulting from AI-generated outputs. Links to third-party sites do not constitute endorsement. We are not responsible for their content or policies.
• Indemnification: Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrendTrack Management, from any claims or damages arising from their misuse of AI features or violation of this disclaimer.

6. Updates to AI Features

TrendTrack Management, may update, modify, or discontinue AI features at its discretion. Such changes may affect functionality or performance, and continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of these changes.

7. Governing Law

This disclaimer is governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising from the use of AI features shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions in the Service Terms & Conditions.
